So what is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda (eye-your-vay-duh) is the back-to basics approach to healthy living. It is centered around the fact that all living things are connected through the same life force. When we are out of touch with our “natural state” we have imbalances that show up in the form of digestive issues, illness, weight gain, hormone imbalance, and insomnia- just to name a few.

It is also rooted in the belief that “we are what we eat”… and think! Our mind and gut health are the main areas of focus to get to the root cause of your imbalance.

This isn’t a “band-aid” method to health! Symptoms are actually your body calling out for help. This wellness journey will get to the cause of the symptom and address the issue where it began. Leaving you with a long-term SOLUTION to the issue instead of just a “quick fix” that will result in the symptom returning. You have to be willing to put in the work, but the lasting results & knowledge you gain are WORTH IT!

I was once where you are now.

In my 20’s I struggled with my health and overall wellness. I was working 50+ hours a week, having anxiety attacks and pooping maybe once a week. I was achieving great things in my retail career but at the expense of my physical and mental health. I knew I had to make a change- physically, mentally and emotionally, but I didn’t have a clue where in the hell to start.

I felt disconnected with my body, and no matter what fad diet I tried or what online article on “quick and easy wellness tips” I read, nothing really helped. I felt more and more hopeless everyday.

It wasn’t until I stopped thinking and researching SO MUCH and finally surrendered, did I find some peace. Shifting my mind from the thinking (OVER-thinking) state to the feeling state was a game changer for me. Becoming aware of the wisdom of our bodies is the key to this journey. When we cut down the distractions of the world and begin listening to our feelings & physical body, we open our eyes to an awareness that knows exactly what we need to live a nourished life, intuitively.
